- We offer an IB Diploma Programme with an internationally-minded curriculum that allows students to advance their learning through an inquiry-based approach. Students are taught to be risk-takers, communicators, balanced thinkers, principled, open-minded, reflective and caring. Students who complete the IB Diploma Programme are well-prepared to excel in post-secondary education or another path of their choosing. We are in the process of becoming an authorized IB Middle Years Programme school to serve students aged 11-16.
- West offers Advanced Placement (AP) and Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP) credit options. Many of these programs such as the Certified Nursing Assistant program, Bay Link Manufacturing job-shop and Bridges Construction & Renovation program allow students to apply their knowledge in real-world situations and earn college credit.
- More than half of our students participate in a college level course during their senior year, and graduate with college credit.
