West High School Graduation Information

Graduation Ceremony - This year will be held at the UWGB-Kress Center on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 11:00 am. Graduation Rehearsal will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 2:00 pm.

Pictures of Graduate at Ceremony:  If you would like to order pictures of your Senior receiving their Diploma at the Graduation Ceremony, please see this flier from Ambrosius Studios.

Senior T-Shirt - If you did not receive your free senior t-shirt in October, please stop in Student Services and see Ms. Petitjean.

Baby Pictures for the Slideshow - We will have a slideshow at Graduation that will include your senior picture and a baby picture, if one is submitted. Baby pictures can be uploaded here.

Cap and Gown - If you have not yet ordered your cap and gown, please see Ms. Petitjean in Student Services. The cost is $35 for cap and gown.  Distribution of caps and gowns will take place on Tuesday, May 6th, during the lunch periods.

Graduation Program Design - Students have the opportunity to design the cover of their graduation program, which will be distributed to family and friends at the graduation ceremony. Cover designs are due to Ms. Petitjean by April 1, 2025. Covers are printed digitally, so students have more creative freedom. Cover designs should be either high-contrast, hand-draw illustrations or computer-generated in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.

  • Dimensions for artwork
    • Designs that will be printed only on the front of the program should measure 7” wide by 8.5” high
    • Designs that will wrap around the front and back of the cover should measure 14” wide by 8.5” high
    • Programs will be printed on legal size paper, folded in half. Final size will be 7” wide by 8.5” high.
  • Specifications for submitting artwork
    • Illustrator and Photoshop, or high resolution PDF files only
    • If using Photoshop, please send an unflattened .psd file to be available in case there are any changes.
    • If using Illustrator, please send two versions: one with standard fonts, and one where the fonts are converted to outlines.
    • Resolution should be at least 300 dpi
    • If the cover is hand-drawn artwork, please no keylining (taping text to the artwork). It takes a lot of time to remove the tape marks from a keylined piece. If a student draws their artwork by hand, they should scan it into Photoshop at 300 dpi and add text either in Photoshop or Illustrator (preferred for spot colors) which will result in crisper text.
    • Students should only use photographs they have taken. Photographs downloaded from the Internet that were not taken by a student cannot be used.
