West High School Graduation Information

Graduation Ceremony - Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. - Kress Center, UWGB.
Doors open at 1:30 pm to graduates and families.

Graduation Rehearsal - Friday, May 29 at 8:00 a.m. - Kress Center, UWGB.
Doors open at 7:30 am.  Practice takes about 1.5 hours.

Cap & Gown Packages

Seniors ordered their cap and gown packages in December.  The vendor will distribute packages on May 5th during lunch periods.  The cost of the packages is $40, and students should be prepared to pay with cash, Venmo or CashApp at the time of pickup.

Graduation Adornment

Any senior who would like to do any type of adornment to their cap and/or gown will need to complete and Adornment Form, which can be picked up in Student Services. The Adornment Form must be approved before decorating begins on the actual cap and/or gown.

Vote for Staff Name Readers

Seniors should check their email for a link to nominate staff members to be name readers.

Preferred Name and Phonetic Spelling

Students have the option to have a preferred name printed in the graduation program and announced at the ceremony as they walk across the stage.  Even if a student does not have a preferred name, we ask that they still complete the form (in their email) with the name they would like announced at graduation. This will help ensure the name reader announces each name correctly. 

Grad Walks

Any senior interested in participating in the graduation walks at their former Elementary and/or Middle School must complete the Grad Walks form that was emailed to them.  Dates and times of the walks are listed in the form.
