Is IB the Right Fit For Me?

The goal of all IB Programmes is to mold students into internationally-minded people who use the tools they acquire in IB to help create a better and more peaceful world. Students of the IB Programme should fit into many of the categories below, and their experience in IB should strive to make them eager to learn and gain an education like no other.

How do I Enroll?

Students interested in pursuing the Diploma Programme (DP) should consider enrolling at West High School their freshman year. Why? West has a small school atmosphere where students receive individual attention and truly get to know their teachers and classmates. Being a Wildcat provides a lot of athletic and academic co-curricular opportunities to meet every interest. School spirit runs high, and we have the best homecoming in the area. Our students are proud to be a part of a more than 100-yearWildcat tradition.

If you are a Green Bay Area Public School District student:

  • Call your school main office for an Open Enrollment form or print one off from the District website.

  • If you are an athlete, if you transfer into another high school AFTER your sophomore year without a change in residence, the WIAA will not allow you to participate in varsity athletics for one full calendar year.

  • If you are entering your junior year, you can take individual IB classes for a certificate and still be part of your home school.

If you are not a Green Bay resident:

  • Students must Open Enroll into West High School. You may enroll online, pick up an Open Enrollment form in your home school main office, or call West High School at 492-2600 for a form.

  • If you are an athlete, if you transfer into another high school AFTER your sophomore year without a change in residence, the WIAA will not allow you to participate in varsity athletics for one full calendar year.

  • The Open Enrollment period runs from February through April. State law mandates that if you apply after that time period, you will have to pay tuition.

We’d love to have you check us out because we feel that West is Best! Feel free to call us at (920) 492-2600  or contact us online to schedule an appointment to visit Green Bay West High School.
