LMC info for Students/Parents during school closing

Q: Where can families pick up devices?

Devices will be available for pickup Monday through Friday at Franklin and Washington Middle Schools between 12:00 and 3:00 through the end of the closure. Our technical staff will be there with car-side service. This will also be where we will be addressing broken devices for students and issuing Kajeets to students who need them.  Students can also request charging cords if they are lost or misplaced.


While we will not be requiring a student ID, that will help expedite the process. If there is no ID, we will ask to confirm the name, school, and grade of the student. Students who have been assigned a device will not necessarily get the exact device that they were using when school was in session. Note: this is for students grade 6-12 only at this time.


Q: Where can students get technology support?

(Call here for password resets. LMC does not have access to password resets from home )

The West High School Library Media Center (LMC) is a supervised center for learning activities.

Students may use the LMC before school, during study halls, lunch hour, and after school to complete classroom assignments or to engage in individual pursuits.

Classes scheduled into the LMC may use a variety of educational resources
to complete assignments and activities. 

The LMC collection includes books, magazines, dvds, e-books, and online databases. The LMC is the point of contact for technology assistance: (password resets, research, hardware & software troubleshooting, computer check-out).
