Current & Past Projects

For the 2023-24 school year, Bridges students built new home builds at 1162 and 1164 Day Street on Green Bay's east side, in partnership with NeighborWorks Green Bay.

Both homes are three bedroom, two bathroom homes. 1162 Day Street is 1391 sq ft, including a bedroom and bathroom in the basement. 1164 Day Street is 1362 sq ft with all rooms on the first floor. The basement is completely unfinished, but an egress window was installed so a future owner could add additional living space in the basement.

For the 2022-23 school year, Bridges students worked on two new home builds, including a house at 421 4th St. in Green Bay in partnership with NeighborWorks Green Bay. The site was previously a vacant lot.  

The new single family home has three bedrooms and two baths. The students built a 24'x24' detached garage. Students will worked on the floor, walls, framing, siding, roofing and finished carpentry of the home. Because these homes have a smaller footprint, students had the opportunity to do more roof framing, most of the drywall, and most of the finished carpentry. 

For the 2022-23 school year, Bridges students worked on two new home builds, including a house at 1200 Doty St. in Green Bay in partnership with NeighborWorks Green Bay. The site was previously a vacant lot.  

The newly built house has three bedrooms, two and a half baths, and is a single family home. Students built a 24'X24' detached garage. Students worked on the floors, walls, framing, siding, roofing and finished carpentry of the house. 

For the 2021-22 school year, Bridges students worked on a new home at 331 S. Irwin St. in Green Bay in partnership with NeighborWorks Green Bay. 

The house is a three bedroom, two and a half bath single family home. Students built a 24'X24' detached garage. They also worked on the floors, walls, framing, siding, roofing and finished carpentry of the house. 

For the 2020-21 school year, Bridges students worked on a new home 1064 Shawano Ave. in Green Bay in partnership with NeighborWorks Green Bay.

The new home at 1064 Shawano Ave. is a three bedroom, two and a half bath single family home. The students built a 24'X24' detached garage. They also worked on the floor, walls, framing, siding, roofing and finished carpentry of the house. 

For the 2020-21 school year, Bridges students renovated a two-family home built in 1928 located at 301 S. Quincy St. in Green Bay in partnership with NeighborWorks Green Bay.

Students learned masonry, worked on new trim/siding, replaced windows and doors, restored hardwood floors, worked on dry wall/plaster, installed new flooring and restored some original features of the home. The home in total has two bathrooms, four bedrooms, two kitchens, two sun porches, and is 2,360 square feet. 

For the 2019-20 school year, Bridges students worked on a new home at 505 5th St. in Green Bay in partnership with NeighborWorks Green Bay.

The house on 5th St. is a three bedroom, two and a half bath home with a detached 24'X24' garage. Students worked on the floor, walls, stair framing, siding and interior finishes of the home. 

For the 2018-19 school year, Bridges students worked on a new home at 720 N. Broadway St. in Green Bay in partnership with NeighborWorks Green Bay.

The house on Broadway St. is a three bedroom, two and a half bath home with a detached 24'X24' garage. Students worked on the floor, walls, stair framing, siding, and interior finishes of the home. 

At the start of the school year, students also built a shed for Wequiock Elementary Children's Center for Environmental Science.

For the 2017-18 school year, Bridges students worked on a new home at 308 S. Quincy St. in Green Bay in partnership with NeighborWorks Green Bay.

The house on S. Quincy St. is a three bedroom, two and a half bath home with a detached 24'X24' garage. Students worked on the floor, walls, stair framing, siding, and interior finishes of the home.

At the start of the school year, students also built a storage shed for Dr. Rosa Minoka-Hill School.
