The reviews are in! West High School students took the stage to perform Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella in March 2025.

“What an outstanding performance! Those students are so talented! We really enjoyed our evening! Way to go West High!” one social media user said.

The show was full of singing, dancing and amazing costume transformations to dazzle the audience. Both Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother had dull outfits transformed into glittering gowns right before the audience's eyes. See photos of the transformations below.

This was the first musical performed in the newly renovated West High School auditorium. The auditorium was renovated thanks to community support of the November 2022 referendum. Historic elements were preserved as new technology was implemented to give both the students and audience the best experience.

Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella is a timeless musical based on the beloved fairy tale by Charles Perrault, brought to life through the enchanting music of Richard Rodgers and the unforgettable lyrics of Oscar Hammerstein II.

This heartwarming story follows a kind-hearted young woman, mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, who finds hope and magic when her fairy godmother transforms her into a beautiful princess.
